Description:
A double-drum winch or two-drum winch is a heavy-duty lifting and pulling winch machine equipped with two independent wire rope drums driven by a common or separate transmission system. The drums can be at the same side or 2-sides driven by electric motor/reducer, hydraulic system or diesel system. It allows simultaneous or alternate operation—ideal for balanced lifting, synchronized pulling, or continuous work cycles.
Compared with single-drum winches, double-drum systems offer better load control, higher productivity, and safer operation—especially for complex lifting or long-distance pulling tasks.
